The dates for 2012 are August 4 and 5 so mark your calendars!
Bike Tioga is a Rotary Club and Tourism Office service provided to the community to enhance our quality of life, promote healthy living, and encourage visitors to experience Tioga County's beautiful countrysides and attractions. THIS YEAR, BIKE TIOGA WILL BEGIN AND END AT HICKORIES PARK, PAVILION #5.
This event provides experienced and non-experienced bicycle riders with the choice of rides ranging from 27 to 102 miles on Saturday, and 28 to 64 miles on Sunday.
Since this is not a race, riders have the opportunity to stop along the ride for rest and refreshments. Rides include flat to hilly terrain through scenic areas of Tioga County, Chemung and Tompkins County dependent on the ride selected.
The cyclists return from their rides to refreshments, folk music, and massages as well as an opportunity for a refreshing dip in the pool.
Please call the Tioga County Tourism Office at 607-687-7440 / 1-800-671-7772 or email for more information about Bike Tioga.
Bike Tioga 2012 Tour Routes are still being planned. Check back shortly for upcoming routes to be published.
All rides will begin and end at Hickories Park.
